WeightCare is built from the ground up to be a privacy-first platform. Unlike many fitness and health tracking applications, we do not require user accounts, email sign-ups, or registrations. You can access all 13 of our health calculators completely anonymously. We believe that tracking your metabolic, cardiac, and physical indicators should never come at the cost of your digital privacy.
2. Zero Collection of Health Metrics
All physiological metrics you enter into our tools (including weight, height, age, activity levels, circumferences, and heart rate) are processed entirely inside your own browser using client-side JavaScript calculations.
We do not transmit, upload, or save your physical indicators to any external servers. The moment you close or refresh your browser tab, all calculated metrics are cleared.
3. Log Data and Web Analytics
Like standard web platforms, we may log anonymous server information when you visit. This data includes standard details such as IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and access timestamps. We utilize this information solely to monitor traffic patterns, prevent abuse, and optimize server speeds for our visitors.
4. Local Storage and Client Sessions
We may use browser LocalStorage or cookies to remember preferences, such as your metric system choices (Metric vs. Imperial) or to load local draft content for blog editing parameters (if using the admin console). None of this local storage links to personal identities or physical locations.
5. Advertising and Third-Party Links
WeightCare is a free platform. To support development and maintenance costs, we may serve advertisements or links to third-party resources. Third-party ad providers may use technologies such as cookies to display advertisements relevant to your interest profile. We do not share any local calculator inputs with these external advertising systems.
